ACA Secretary Notes
Please note that we have several rodeos yet to go. There is still plenty of time for someone to join and make the finals. July 1st is the deadline to buy a rookie membership. Remember that rookie applications have to be sent in with your membership form when you buy your card.
Rodeo results will be reflected in the standings. Keep in mind that the producer has 7 days following the rodeo to get the information into the ACA office, then I will process the membership applications before updating the standings.
ACA Logo - we are working on an official logo design. If you would like to submit a suggestion, please send email with your design to the ACA office: acarodeo@sbcglobal.net

Our Deepest Sympathy
ACA would like to express our deepest sympathy to Michael Boggs in the loss of his father - Johnny Boggs.
Funeral services were Friday, June 13, 10am at the Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Heber Springs. Burial was at the Rosebud cemetary in Rosebud.
Some of you may recall Johnny Boggs was the ACA Team Roping Champion in 1976 & 1980. Please keep this family in your prayers.

 BAREBACK & SADDLE BRONC FINALS CHALLENGEWe will add an additional $1000 Added Money for your event (this is in addition to the finals money collected all year long), if there are 10 or more qualified contestants for the ACA Finals with their entry fees paid up by the Finals Meeting. To qualify for the Finals, you must have competed in 8 ACA sanctioned rodeos & have money won in the Top 15 standings.

FINALS MEETING AGENDA - If you have anything (including rule proposals or changes) to be placed on the agenda for the finals meeting, it must be submitted in writing to the ACA office no later than September 21, '08 Finals Meeting.
NOMINATIONS FOR COWBOY OR COWGIRL OF THE YEAR - Please make your suggestions known to the ACA office.
PRODUCERS/STOCK CONTRACTORS - To be eligible to submit a stock list for the ACA Finals you must produce at least 8 ACA sanctioned rodeos in 4 different locations. Your rough stock must be offered four times and competed on at least 3 times.
OFFICIALS - Timers, bullfighters and pickup men: To be eligible for finals nomination must purchase a membership before July 1, 2008, work at 8 ACA sanctioned rodeos after buying their membership. Announcers & Judges are excluded from this rule.
Finals Sponsorship - Please contact the ACA office if you or someone you know would be interested in sponsoring the finals or placing an ad in the program, newsletter or website. Sponsorship forms are available on the website. click here for form page
Rule Books will be available from ACA rodeo secretaries, download from our website, or you may contact the ACA office to mail one.
